JIM DEERY was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio. He graduated from Elyria High School, and received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. Jim went on to study law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating in 1977. Jim has been in private practice ever since. He is a member of the Lorain County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Suoreme Court. Jim is a member of a number of organizations, including the United Polish Club in Elyria; Main Street Elyria; Elks Lodge 465; Elyria Moose Lodge #778; Sons of the American Legion, Post 12; and the Knights of Columbus. Jim has three children, and is married to Laura Deery.
DAN GIBBONS moved to the Northeast Ohio area in 1992. He attended law school at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio; before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; and before the United States Supreme Court. Dan has been in private practice since 1996. He is a Past President of the Lorain County Bar Association, and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is a past Chairman of the Domestic Relations Section of the LCBA. He is also a member of the LCBA Grievance Committe. Dan is a member of a number of organizations, including the West Side Irish American Club in Olmsted Township and Black River Masonic Lodge in Lorain. Dan is married to Marybeth Gibbons.
